Delays, Confusion Mark National Elections

Port-au-Prince, February 7, 2006. Reports are streaming into Baker campagin headquarters about voter intimidation, disorganization and confusion at polling places throughout the country. In Fontamare 43, the polling place opened at 12:15. Voters had been waiting in line since before dawn. There are reports that voters used notebooks to cast their vote since the registration lists could not be found.
